Bounded Socials has no account, analytics, advertising, telemetry, remote backend, or cloud synchronization.

The extension stores its settings, supported-site identity, visit timestamps, visit types, deliberate choices, and short-lived session state locally in the user’s Chrome profile.

The fixed catalog currently includes Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, TikTok, Strava, Gmail, LinkedIn, and X. Bounded Socials does not request access to general Chrome history or inspect page content.

Locally archived visits are capped at 30 calendar days. Uninstalling the extension removes extension-local data according to Chrome’s platform behavior.
